March 2016 Pixel Scrappers Blog Train – Unwind Preview

I love the brights so this blog train was perfect for me.  Because I’ve been getting ready to leave in March, I completely forgot to work on anything until now.  I quickly threw something together today because I don’t know if I’ll have another day to work on it.  I hope you love the bright colors and the pretty Unwind theme.

Pixel Scrapper February 2016 Blog Train For The Love…

When I first started this blog train I didn’t really like the color choices, but the more I got into it, the more I found I could do with it.  A lot of people decided to do For the Love of Coffee.  Of course I was down for that, so I was excited to add a few coffee elements to my kit.  I will have papers and elements for download on February 1st.  Here are the previews.

Pixel Scrapper January 2016 Blog Train: Crafty Evening

I can’t believe it’s almost 2016!  This year has gone by so fast for me and I can’t believe it’s over.  January Blog Train’s theme is Crafty Evening and I love the colors for this month.

I made some new stuff and recolored some of my Everyday Work Papers and Elements since that kit was all about crafting anyways.  I loved creating some new coffee cups and tea items as well.  So here’s the preview, and the items will go live on January 1st.

December Pixel Scrapper Blog Train: Let’s Get Festive

Now that Thanksgiving is over I’m ready to celebrate Christmas!  My first act of Christmas is the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train.  This month’s theme is Let’s Get Festive.

One of my greatest memories from Christmas time is baking cookies with my mom and brother around the holidays.  We cooked the family special Tea Cakes.  and decorated them with all kinds of icing.  I still remember waiting for hours while the dough cooled in the freezer before we could cut them out.  That’s why my mini kit this month is Let’s Get Festive: Baking Edition.  Just click the preview for the download.

I went a little over board on this blog train so I made some extras.  Papers, Icons, Stickers, and Journaling Elements. This is all included in one kit and the download can be found here.

December Pixel Scrapper Blog Train Dec 2015 Preview

This week I’ve been working on the December Blog Train for Pixel Scrapper.  I decided to go with a baking theme for at least part of it.  Some of my fondest memories from childhood are of making Christmas cookies with my mom and brother.  I know I got a jump-start on this, but I will be traveling next week and then Thanksgiving so I needed to.

Here’s this month’s colorway:

Everyday Life: Work Knitting Kit

Hey everyone, yesterday I posted about how I was making a new kit for the designer challenge over at Pixel Scrappers. I learned a lot making this kit since this is only the 2nd thing I’ve made with Photoshop. I’m loving learning all about how to make things look the way I want them too.  This kit I focused on texture and recoloring things to my liking.  I tried to QC everything, but I only know a little about Gamut and Stray Pixels, so go easy on me.

I’ve finished it in record time and I think it’s awesome.  The kit is in one file and there are solid and patterned papers along with elements and word art as well.  I hope you like it.  Scroll to the bottom of the post for the download.

Pixel Scrapper Blog Train November 2015: Thankful Harvest

Can you believe it’s already November?  I know I can’t.  I’ve been in Colorado since May of this year and I was only supposed to stay for like a month tops!  I am going home later this month for Thanksgiving and Christmas so that’s good.

Lately I’ve gotten really into designing digital scrapbook patterns and freebies.  If you know me at all you know I LOVE my planner.  I was looking for some patterns to use to make my own stickers and I came across a great site…Pixel Scrappers.  The lovely people over there have inspired me to learn how to design my own and what better time to get started than now?

November 2015 BT

So, this month I’m participating in the Blog Train Thankful Harvest.  I started designing and came up with one version, then I got feedback and came up with another version and some word art so I’m uploading them all for you if you want them.  Grab all that you want.

Version 1 is PU/S4H/SFO and Version 2 is CU.  They are both 12×12 and 300dpi.  The word art is 300dpi .png files.  Just click the image to download!
